Crime of the Week – Black/White/Orange Bauer Hockey bag with equipment
During the early morning hours of Saturday April 22nd, 2017 unknown suspects cut their way into the fenced compound of a Gillard Street storage facility. It appears that the suspects arrived on an ATV.
Once inside the thieves pried opened the doors on several storage units and removed the contents from inside. One of the items removed was a black, white and orange Bauer hockey bag with the Walpole Island Hawks logo embroidered on it and the carrying straps are a custom design of orange and white. Inside the bag were 2 pairs of skates, helmet, pants, coat and one pair of Hawks customized black and gold gloves. Total value of the theft is $1000 and damages to the units is in excess of $100
