Crime of the Week – Cab Driver Assault
In the early morning hours of Sunday February 25th, 2018 a Courtesy Cab picked up a fare near 85 Pine Street in Chatham. The male suspect driver to the area of Eugenie and John Street where he began assaulting the driver and demanding money.
The driver was able to fend off the attack and the suspect was last seen fleeing on foot towards Tweedsmuir Avenue. He is described as white male, 5’10, 180 pounds, 40-50 years old with a scruffy greyish beard and last wearing a dark coloured two piece track suit.
The police are seeking your help in identifying the suspect. If you know who he is call Crime Stoppers and you could earn a cash reward.
