Crime of the Week – Gasoline Theft
For several weeks there has been numerous thefts of gas from vehicles in the Community of Wallaceburg. The suspect in these incidents drills holes in the tank and drains the tank into a jerry can causing several thousands of dollars in damages to the vehicles.
On July 12th, 2018 the suspect was observed stealing from the tank of a vehicle parked at the Sydenham District Hospital. The police were able to obtain an image of the suspect from video surveillance in the area. The suspect is described as being 6 ft tall, 180 lbs, wearing a black shirt, blue shorts
