Crime of the Week – Stolen boiler, water pump, security cameras
On April 10, 2018 the Chatham Kent Police attended a break and enter at Wedgewood Avenue apartment complex. They were informed that in the two week period before the 10th unknown suspects entered a locked utility room and removed a Lochinvar Knight Heating Boiler, worth approximately $12,000; a Solar water Pump valued at $2,400 and Swan surveillance cameras worth $2,500.
The suspects would have had to have some knowledge of the system along with gas and plumbing experience to remove these items.
