A Thousand Miles to Freedom on Thursday February 15 at 6:30pm at the Dresden Branch of the Chatham Kent Public Library

Celebrate Black History Month with the kids by taking an interactive journey from slavery to freedom on the Underground Railroad.

Brenda Lambkin from Uncle Tom’s Cabin Historic Site brings to life the fascinating story of William & Ellen Craft, who escaped slavery in Georgia and traveled all the way to England for freedom
