Crime of the Week – Assault in Downtown Chatham
On Saturday February 8th, 2020 at approximately 2:00 am the victim was walking on King Street West in the Chatham downtown when she was approached by an unknown female accompanied by two males. After a brief conversation the female suspect assaulted the victim knocking her to the ground and hitting her several times with a closed fist. The victim suffered a concussion and required stitches to treat a wound to her mouth.
The suspect is described as a white female in her 20’s with blonde hair.
