The Wallaceburg & District Museum is hosting a 2-day celebration to honour local aviation and the memory of the owners, instructors, and pilots of the Wallaceburg Airport. Wallaceburg was a thriving regional airport with international flights, customs clearance, commercial and private charters, and a flight school.
The event will include activities and displays of artifacts, pictures, aircraft models, kids paper airplane competition, a BBQ and social time.
This event is open and of interest to all. Come out and enjoy the displays, the large model planes and sections of actual planes, the gyrocopter, and the photo opportunities. Everyone is welcome so, mark you calendar for July 7th and 8th.
