Clair Culliford of The Veranda Presents will read his recent verse and prose at Mrs. Bell’s Tea Room on Friday, December 1st at 1 pm.
Some of the writings will be humorous, some thoughtful, some complimentary, and some satirical or perhaps sarcastic. All will be entertaining. The reading is called “From My Cabin Overlooking The Thames.”
At the Tea Room, you can enjoy a pot of tea and delicious scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. You can also have a full Afternoon Tea. Afternoon Tea is the lovely Victorian tradition of enjoying tea, tasty finger sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, and fancy desserts.
